Fresh Industries was co-founded in 2009 by a couple of young guys, Aaron Sakaria, who wanted to revitalize the furniture industry. Aaron had looked around at the industry and observed that most furniture was characterized by the overstuffed ‘bubba’ look. They set out to bring style, comfort and value to freshen up consumers’ homes. This goal sparked the idea that became Fresh Industries. The name ‘Fresh’ comes from one of Aaron's favorite restaurants, Element Fresh in Shanghai. The company still did not have a name as the two sat at the restaurant minutes before they were about to hire their first employee. While waiting for the future employee, they noticed that part of Element Fresh’s logo was covered up, leaving only the ‘fresh’ part visible. Struck by inspiration that aligned with the new company’s purpose, Fresh seemed like the obvious and perfect name. The reason they chose to go with industries and not furniture is because Fresh Industries wants to be mobile and have the ability to move into other businesses, such as fashion. Since it’s launch in 2009 in Shanghai, China, Fresh Industries has been delivering great value on furniture to retailers across the globe. Due to its international reach, Fresh finds new inspiration from different parts of the world, which allows the company to constantly bring fresh and exciting styles to consumers. The ability to discover, design and build stylish, functional, and high quality products continues to be the blueprint for Fresh Industries’ success. Fresh’s innovative spirit enables it to constantly evolve with the ever-changing styles of furniture and positions the company as a competitive furniture manufacturer in today’s market.
