Tom Reeves was born in 1967 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. “California is a pretty contemporaray state and a bit of the citizens has rubbed off on me and it shows in some of the abstract works.” Reeves says when asked where he currently lives. He lives in Riverside, California with his wife, three children and their two dogs. Before devoting his life to art, Tom knew he wanted to be an artist, His parents wanted him to be a lawyer but he says the doodling on his term papers was more impressive than the words in the papers. After Tom moved to California, Tom worked as a commercial and residential painter and later did murals and paintings on canvas.
